Pitching investors are very challenging and the most important part of any pitch is the company itself, putting together a great presentation can help you get both initial meetings. Here are a few basic tricks to get you started on the right pitch deck presentation.

1. Ignore business plan focus on the Pitch deck

Investors hear from a number of companies every day and don’t have time to read through so many business plans. Instead, focus on telling your story through a short deck is about 8-10 slides, when it comes to pitching, this will perform another role. You can mail it to investors to build up their interest and then use it to tell your story personally as well.

2. Get direct feedback in the early stages

While you may have been able to pull off last-minute presentations in your company’s pitch will benefit substantially from the provision. Before pitching your first pitch investor, your needs go through many rounds for showing your pitch deck presentation to knowledgeable friends, and other entrepreneurs Each person you meet provides new tips and ask some new questions. I spent about a month to collect feedback from people whom I trusted before showing our deck to a single investor.

3. Should take care of following things

There are many resources those who are covering the many things like what should be in a pitch deck. Describe your story very summarized way, with as few words as possible and contemplate the possibility of the investors will ask, then answer them in your presentation.

Here are the questions that you answered in your pitch deck, with every single slide.

Why should an investor care about who you are?

Include a quick bio for each co-founder of a company, focusing on what a single person brings to the company and mentioned advisors, list them as well. As at the initial stage, investors are making their immense bet on the team, so it is very important to show why an investor should take you seriously and believe in you.

What is The size of the opportunity?

How the market is changing and how you are targeting? Investors want to see that there’s a huge potential if a company is successful as its seed level investing

How does it work?

Even though showing how your product works using images and text is helpful when you send your pitch deck to someone even if they didn’t go through it. Keep it simple, though.

Who are your competitors?

Mention the main competitors in the market to show you’ve done research on them, mostly, talk about why you’re better.

How will you grow your business?

Show that you have a feasible way to touch the market that you said you were going to capture and what is your ideas for marketing and distributing your product.

How you need them financially?

This is your chance to say how much you’re trying to increase, and what you plan to do with that money, and how long you expect it to last.

What was that again?

I liked ending with a summary slide because this is a little less common it will help to remind investors of the important feature of the company without having to go back through the deck.

4. Refine:

Don’t be nervous to adjust your Pitch Decks as you talk to more and more to investors. You’ll come to know what stimulates people’s interest and what questions occur while building pitch deck and where you tend to get out of order, so prepare accordingly for next meeting.

To conclude: The Pitch deck for investors or startups and building a pitch deck plays a very important role so it should be impressive.
