To get to our core objective of Conservation, we decided to talk about it and create awareness at all levels and to do it consistently. We at Starranty.com believe that Conservation is not a one time event but a behavioral change that needs to be a way of life just like healthy eating & living. We take pride in our job of servicing, maintaining, repairing and installing Home appliances. And it is proven fact that a well-maintained appliance is always an energy saver more than an energy guzzler.
"The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it” - Robert Swann
We have decided to take matters into our own hands. December -14th is National Energy Conservation Day we spread our celebrations across a week at St. Gregorios School, Chembur. This week long program included sensitizing kids towards renewable and non-renewable sources of energy, alternate sources of energy & behavioral changes aimed at conservation. Specially designed student engagement programs were conducted by Starranty team mates for all students from standard 1 to standard 8.
200 students, teachers, school support staff and the Principal – Mrs. Rashmi Ambavane participated in the awareness rally on December 14th, spreading the message on energy conservation and sensitizing passer-bys. The enthusiastic involvement and the dedication displayed by the students to spread the message was remarkable and commendable. A fun and bollywood styled "Nukkad Natak" was performed by team Starranty with the core message of Energy Conservation. The children enjoyed the fun-way and took home the message of energy conservation.
This brings us to the core message that nothing is impossible if one sincerely believes. A startup with modest beginnings could pull off a event of this magnitude only because of the sheer determination and hard work of the team involved. We believe in little ways and we believe in doing it our way.
