When it comes to the website design, it plays a significant role in determining the success of your online business. There's no substitute for a good website design. As you know that web venture goals keep changing with the market trends and this is the reason why old web designing techniques can't add to the site's performance. So, with the ever-changing technology trends, you need to regularly update the web developing techniques that most of us fail to notice. Here, in this article, I'm going to discuss most overlooked techniques in web designing.

1. Navigation Of The Website

The first and the foremost technique that is being overlooked in web design is navigation of the site. If your site is easily navigable, then you'll have a more visitor count. The basic building blocks of the navigation are the hyperlinks. Any informational site or a content management system should have links and sections that connect visitors to appropriate areas of the website. Your site should be designed in a way that the user can quickly locate information about any page on the website's sitemap. Almost every modern browser provides support to implement links such as default or normal link, visited the link, hover state and active state.

2. Contact Form Configurations

There are a lot of designers who overlook contact form configurations. If you want to generate leads and want to convert visitors into customers, forms are vital. The primary goal of a business is to convert visitors into customer. This is why you need to pay keen attention to contact forms same as you give to animations and graphics. Your site must contain a contact form as it allows visitors to reach the site administrator directly via email or phone.

3. Appearance Of the Various States Of Buttons

Now come the button styles. Buttons play a significant role in converting a website visitor into a customer. Or you can say that it helps the visitor to take action. You can choose from the following button styles;

Default State -- It is the state in which button waits to get clicked for the first time.

Hover State -- The state in which button appears when the cursor of the mouse is on top of the button.

Click State -- In which the button appears when it is being activated.

Disables State -- In which the button appears when it cannot be used or is disabled.

Moreover, size, shape and color theme of the buttons must be uniform for the whole website.

4. Automated Website Generated Mails

It's another important feature that can't be overlooked when it comes to web designing. It's a simple and easy way of promotion. With the help of email notifications, you can track user activities on the site. Ideally, the process of being notified should start from user registrations. Furthermore, mailing list registration, order placement and support ticket confirmation must also be notified by e-mail. These notifications will provide excellent opportunity to establish a brand.

5. Flexible Website Design

Another most overlooked technique is the lack of flexibility in website design. Most of the sites don't stretch easily and look shabby. A competent web developer or a web design services agency should have made room for the addition of the content. If the content is elongated or added later to the site, your website template must not go out-of-shape. Keep the website design simple. Complex sites are out of fashion as they involve complexities, complications, and poor design. So, it's always good to have a simple and professional-looking website rather than too gaudy.

So, above-mentioned are the most overlooked techniques in web designing. Beware!
