John Heng

John Heng
Co-Founder & Director, SynPhNe
John is currently faculty at School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Division of Mechatronics and Design, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore since 1999. He received his Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineeing from Glasgow Univsity (1990), Master and Ph.D. degrees from the Strathclyde Unversity (1991, 1995) respectively. His research interests include rehabiliation, actuated orthoses, multi level haptic interface, systems design, walking machines and autonomous vehicles. He is a committee member of the Singapore IMechE Branch and is Vice President of the Singapore Robotics Games Society.
