A serial entrepreneur, Siddharth Menon, is the COO and Co-founder at WazirX, India’s largest leading crypto exchange. With over 15 years of experience in the consumer fintech space, Siddharth, or Sid to friends and colleagues, is responsible for the overall growth and success of the organization.
The passionate entrepreneur is obsessed with his mission to bring the crypto revolution to India, and making WazirX amongst the most sought after, reliable and trustworthy exchanges worldwide. Siddharth takes pride in his team who shares the same passion for changing the world. Under his able leadership, and supported by a diverse and multi-talented team, WazirX made a big impact since its inception in 2018. It launched BANK Ban in India and also introduced India’s first P2P. In no time, it hit over a billion in daily trade and improved conversion from fiat to crypto and vice-versa.
Siddharth has diversified experience in several new-age technologies with a Degree in Geology from the University of Mumbai. An avid designer, UX expert, and early creator of basic product design systems in early 2000, he is passionate about building and solving challenges.
Adding to his line of achievements, he has been building mobile-first startups since 2010, way ahead of its time and trend. He was instrumental in building the world's 1st AI-driven marketing tools. Besides, Siddharth is an advisor to startup enthusiasts and entrepreneurs across the Crypto and Fintech ecosystems with a focus on India.
Before WazirX, Siddharth had started multiple businesses since his university days. His last venture was Crowdfire, the world’s biggest social media management tool with over 23 million users.
As a COO and Co-Founder, he envisions taking WazirX to every Indian household and investor. He aims to build a crypto ecosystem for everyone, beyond exchange, addressing different parts of the industry - for investors, artists, musicians, people who are in finance.
Siddharth calls himself a DIY guy and loves to build stuff or solutions whenever he sees a problem. Building and flying drones as part of his DIY projects are among the few things that he enjoys a lot. He is also into home automation projects and has built few electronic products. In his leisure time, Siddharth plays games. He loves networking and meeting people who want to bring about a change in the world.
