First of its kind MSME park in Hyderabad soon
We’ve heard of IT parks. Here’s something new, MSME parks. The Telangana government will soon inaugurate the MSME Park at Dandu Malkapur on the outskirts of Hyderabad in Choutuppal mandal in Yadadri-Bhongir district.
The park will house small and medium industrial enterprises and is expected to attract an investment of Rs 1,000 crore.
According to a report in The Indian Express, state Industries Minister KT Rama Rao at a meeting held on May 29 with officials of TS Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC), reviewed the progress of the establishment of industrial parks by TSIIC.
Work on a seed park at Banda Mylaram, food processing unit at Timmapur and an LED park at Siva Nagar is also going on. Several companies have expressed their willingness to set up units in these parks, according to officials.
The minister has asked to be apprised of the progress on the proposed apparel park at Sircilla and sought a report on all proposed industrial parks in the state, the expected investments, and the employment potential, the news report mentioned.
