Telangana government launches MSME networking portal to digitize over 2.3 million MSMEs
The Telangana government on Wednesday launched an MSME networking portal, Telangana State GlobalLinker to digitize over 2.3 million Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises of the Telangana state. The portal is, ts-msme.globallinker.com.
"Digitization is going to be one of the game changers for MSME businesses as it helps them cater to customers beyond local boundaries, allows their profit to grow twice as fast and substantially increases their contribution to GDP," an official release quoted Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries, as saying at an event.
He also added that the solution aims to address key challenges faced by MSMEs with the core objective of making their business growth simpler, more profitable and enjoyable.
Last year, Summi Gambhir, Co-Founder and CXO, GlobalLinker, told SMBStory, “The SMEs [on GlobalLinker’s platforms] are free to explore business opportunities through making new connections, assisted by our algorithms. Further, SMEs get access to economies of scale, using a wide range of business tools and services pre-created specially for them,” Gambhir explains.
Sameer Vakil, Co-founder and CEO, GlobalLinker, said, “We are immensely proud to host the Telangana state government MSME network on the GlobalLinker platform. Digitisation can truly catalyse growth for MSMEs, as it not only blurs borders but also provides greater access to clients. We look forward to assisting over 2.3 million MSME members to transform their business on the strength of our platform.’’
