Gayatri Singh - Child Development Specialist, UNICEF told journalists at a workshop on evidence-based health journalism that malnutrition in India is something that parents and healthcare professionals need to be mindful of right from childbirth. “India is at a crossroads. We are faced with a triple burden of malnutrition,” Gayatri said, explaining that stunting and wasting, obesity, and micronutrient deficiencies are the most visible forms of malnutrition in India.
