Jayesh Ranjan is a member of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) of the 1992 batch and working in the state of Telangana. He is the Principal Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT) Departments of the Telangana government. His assignment involves developing policy frameworks, attracting new investments, identifying opportunities of utilizing IT in various government processes, and promoting digital empowerment of the citizens. Rahul is the President of Amazon Internet Services looking after the Public Sector business for India and South Asia, covering customers across Government, Education, Healthcare and Non Profits. He is an elected member of the NASSCOM IT Services Council and a Governing Council member of the IT-ITes Sector Skill Council. Rahul has an MBA from IIM Calcutta and a B.Tech from IIT (BHU) Varanasi.
Ravi is the CEO at T-Hub, which leads India’s pioneering innovation ecosystem that powers next-generation products & new business models. He has co-founded three companies that he led from inception to successful acquisition. He has chaired TiE Entrepreneurial Summit, NASSCOM Product Conclave, & PAN IIT Conclave. An engineer from IIT Madras, Ravi also holds an MS & MBA from the University of Southern California.
JVS Ramakrishna currently heads Strategy, Platform & Solution delivery for Smart World & Communication BU under the Larsen & Toubro conglomerate, with an order book of more than $500 million, spanning 25+ Cities and Digital Infra. He has around 25 years of experience in Technology, Strategy, Business Development, Global Delivery and Building high-performance cross-domain teams. He has worked in the UK, South Africa, Japan, the US and India.
Pavan Adipuram runs ChitMonks and his product - a blockchain implementation which has been awarded Gold at the national level for implementation of Emerging technology category. His company has also received “Most Innovative Blockchain Startup” in the state formation day awards of Telangana 2018. He is building a Citizen centric, Financially inclusive Bharat by creating the largest network of Savers and Borrowers on Blockchain. He is currently working with the Telangana State Government to bring the entire ROSCA operations across the state onto this network.
Syntizen’s mission is to enable Seamless identity check which results in Delightful customer onboarding for Corporate & to better the Service Delivery by Governments. Founded in 2014, Syntizen is a Startup India registered Start-up, incubated at India’s T-Hub which is India’s biggest Government backed Startup incubator, member of India Stack and a part of NASSCOM 10K Startups.
Prateep Basu is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at SatSure Ltd, a decision analytics startup that is working on solutions to enable technology access for financing sustainable development, food, water, and energy security programs globally. He is a seasoned space industry professional with work experience in both the business and technology front. An aerospace engineer from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Trivandrum, with a post-graduate degree in Space Studies from the International Space University, Strasbourg, he has worked as a scientist in ISRO, and as a geospatial industry analyst at Boston-based Northern Sky Research (NSR), prior to starting SatSure.
With over 19 years of work experience, Deepti’s current focus areas are smart infrastructure (cities, utilities and transport), digital agriculture and the GovTech program. She has been with AWS since July 2018. Prior to this, Deepti has led smart cities initiatives at Microsoft and IBM Global Business Services. She has handled business development, ecosystem development and delivery roles around smart cities in these organizations. In between her corporate jobs, Deepti has done a 3-years stint with Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), GoI, where she was part of the strategy team to roll out the Aadhaar project. As part of UIDAI’s Program Management Unit, Deepti was involved in conceptualizing and setting up strategy, processes and policies for enrolments, authentication, data updates, eKYC etc.
