In my current role I'm helping game developers around EMEA to architect solutions on AWS by leveraging our Game Tech services. I also build example solutions and do public speaking on AWS Game Tech services and solutions. My key interest areas include cloud-native solutions, end-to-end software delivery, the cultural and organizational change that the cloud introduces and all aspects of cloud from infrastructure to applications. I believe that a strong DevOps focus is key to all these areas. I’ve worked with businesses of all sizes from startups to large enterprises supporting them with cloud transformation and cloud architecture design. I’ve also worked as a manager for multiple teams and managed a global consultancy practice (100+ AWS architects). I enjoy people management and supporting individuals in skills and career development but feel also at home in deep technical roles. I have a strong game developer background from backend, frontend and native mobile development. I'm familiar with most common programming languages including C/C++, C#, Objective-C, Python, Java, JavaScript as well as game development technologies and engines such as Unity. I have worked with 10+ commercial game titles doing project management, game logic, backend development, GUI programming, AI programming, physics, design and music. I'm an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional and Certified Solutions Architect - Professional. I'm also certified as an AWS Instructor for the official AWS courses and have delivered courses for IT professionals around the Nordics. I have worked as a Computer Science (Game Development) teacher in both University of Applied Sciences and Vocational school and I'm a qualified teacher (see Education for details). I've worked with the AWS platform since 2013 (CloudFormation, EC2, DynamoDB, S3, Auto Scaling, Elastic Load balancing, Route53, ElastiCache, Lambda, API Gateway, networking..) and I'm very cloud oriented. I've built AWS backends for multiple game titles with millions of players worldwide leveraging AWS managed services to handle a large user base. I'm familiar with Agile practices and I've used Scrum in multiple successful projects working as a producer and Scrum master. I get easily excited of different things and my hobbies include: - Playing several instruments, singing and composing. - Synthesizers and making music with computers - Designing board games - Hobby software projects - Travelling
