Manoj has been a successful entrepreneur and an early-stage investor in several enterprise software startups and social innovation experiments. He has also worked for over two decades in investment banking and fintech firms. He also serves as a senior advisor at Tata Trusts, responsible for managing the innovation portfolio, promoting entrepreneurship and nurturing academic/R&D relationships globally. His initiative, Social Alpha, strengthens the science and technology start-up ecosystem in India with a focus on “lab to market” enablement. Since its inception in 2016, Social Alpha has incubated and nurtured more than 150 mission driven start-ups, making more than 35 seed investments and four exits.

About Binnya Joseph

Binnya is an enthusiastic technologist and heads ICT led transformation programmes of Kochi Smart City. With experience in successful execution of ICT initiatives in Smart Cities and Public Sector segment, she helps align digital strategies with the city development goals. With more than 15 year of IT industry experience, Binnya is a firm believer of the impact of digital transformation on Urban Life, Smart Cities in particular.

About Hiren Doshi

Hiren is a passionate digital entrepreneur with 20 years of experience in the tech industry. Currently the lead of strategy, partnerships and business development at eGov Foundation, Hiren has had stints at various leadership positions at Amazon, Flipkart and Infosys. He has also led the adoption of Sunbird, a population-scale digital learning infrastructure created by Ekstep. As an entrepreneur, he has successfully incubated start-ups in the digital industry and he mentors founders of many young start-ups on business and growth strategies.

About Abhilasha Purwar

Abhilasha is a Fulbright, Yale and IIT alum with 9+ years of global experience in private equity, environmental policy and data analytics across seven countries. A strong believer in the power of private enterprise and tech to fight climate change, Abhilasha’s firm Blue Sky is building AI-powered infrastructure to analyse every pixel on the planet for insights on air quality, water pollution, heat index, flood risks and more.

About Vineet Toshniwal

Vineet’s experience spreads across 2.5 decades that includes stints at large banks such as Citibank, Bank of America, and as the head of Infosys for Greater China. His startup CityCash addresses the issues of micropayments that exist for more than 400 million people in the middle-to-lower-income consumers. About Deepti Vikas Dutt

With over 19 years of work experience, Deepti’s current focus areas are smart infrastructure (cities, utilities and transport), digital agriculture and the GovTech program. She has been with AWS since July 2018. Prior to this, Deepti has led smart cities initiatives at Microsoft and IBM Global Business Services. She has handled business development, ecosystem development and delivery roles around smart cities in these organizations. In between her corporate jobs, Deepti has done a 3-years stint with Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), GoI, where she was part of the strategy team to roll out the Aadhaar project. As part of UIDAI’s Program Management Unit, Deepti was involved in conceptualizing and setting up strategy, processes and policies for enrolments, authentication, data updates, eKYC etc.
