Indian Ocean and Kabir Cafe Live 

When: April 28, Sunday, 5 PM onwards 

Where: Phoenix Marketcity 

Cost: Rs 249 onwards

Indian Ocean—the 1990-founded Delhi-based legendary band known to be the pioneers of the fusion rock genre in India—will perform live at the Phoenix Marketcity, along with the soulful musicians of indie-folk band, Kabir Cafe. 

Expect the event to portray the heartbeat of Mumbai’s music scene.

International Jazz Day Celebrations 2024 

When: April 27, Saturday, 8 PM - 1 AM

Where: antiSOCIAL, Lower Parel

Cost: Rs 499 onwards 

UNESCO declared April 30 as International Jazz Day in 2011 to highlight jazz and its diplomatic role in uniting people globally. Celebrate the day at antiSOCIAL, Lower Parel, with a curated lineup of musician Adil Manuel, AMC (Brazilian Jazz fusion), Tea (India x Japan), and Klavya Trio - Thelonius Monk Tribute, among others.

Liminal Gaps

Where: Art House, Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre

Cost: Rs 299 onwards 

NMACC is hosting its first exhibition to showcase contemporary Indian artists, featuring artworks by Ayesha Singh, Raqs Media Collective, Asim Waqif, and Afrah Shafiq. 

The exhibition will explore a journey of spaces ‘in-between’ or transitional spaces. The art show is curated by Mafalda Millies Kahane and Roya Sachs, with executive production by Elizabeth Edelman Sachs from TRIADIC.

Bengaluru Pupper Party 

When: April 28, Sunday, 3 PM - 6 PM 

Where: Bira 91 Taproom, Koramangala 

Cost: Rs 499 (per human); Rs 1,999 (for a group of five humans)

Bira 91 Taproom is set to host the Bengaluru Pupper Party—a fun evening with a lineup of engaging activities curated for the four-legged companions—in partnership with Pet Fed India.

Padmashree awardee Kailash Kher, along with his band Kailasa, will perform their fusion of folk and Sufi numbers at the Phoenix Marketcity this Saturday.

Delhi 

TATA IPL 2024 | Delhi Capitals vs Mumbai Indians 

When: April 27, 3 30 PM onwards 

Where: Arun Jaitley Stadium

Cost: Rs 1,000 onwards 

What’s a better way to spend the weekend than attending one of the matches of the much celebrated IPL? Show your support live at the nail-biting match live between the Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians on Saturday.

Parikrama 

When: April 27, 8:30 PM onwards 

Where: The Piano Man, New Delhi

Incepted in 1991, Parikrama has been synonymous with Rock and Roll in India, performing globally in over 4,000 shows across India, Canada, the US, and the UK. The music band joined Iron Maiden in 1997 and has subsequently performed at the Download Festival. 

Recently, Parikrama started documenting their musical journey and also announced the release of 50 original tracks over the next five years. Be a part of their journey as the band performs at Delhi-NCR’s remarkable music club, The Piano Man, this Saturday.

The Real Van Gogh Immersive Experience

TATA IPL 2024 - Chennai Super Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

Jazz Week: Boom Suyasit and Friends

Skinny Mo’s Jazz Club is hosting a week-long jazz celebration in the city, whose affair with Jazz dates back to the 1920s. Thailand’s rising jazz star, Boom, will perform alongside guitarist Anchit Sengupta, bassist Aakash Ganguly, drummer Premjit Dutta, and Rupsha Sen’s vocals.
