IMSR, Hubli plans to start Entrepreneurship development programmes

The Institute of Management Studies and Research (IMSR), Hubli, plans to introduce various entrepreneurship development programmes in association with the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad, and a social entrepreneurship centre of Deshpande Foundation, Hubli.


Director of KLE Society’s IMSR P.B. Roodagi said that in the changed industrial scenario in the wake of economic slowdown, the institute was planning to train individuals who would strive to become job givers rather than just job seekers.


The institute would be offering certificate courses in retail management, banking and insurance to students. There were plans to extend the courses to professionals also, he said.Director of KLE Society Shankaranna Munavalli said that the institutes run by the society had carved a niche for themselves by providing quality education.
