The Loot bags the Indy's Awards for Excellence in Mass Communication

February 2010 Mumbai: The Loot, India’s leading multi-brand discount store is a true-blue example of entrepreneurship.
Mr. Jay Gupta – MD, The Loot won the Young Achiever Award at the 4th Indy's Awards for Excellence in Mass Communication. This award is the 11th for The Loot in recent times.
When conferred with this award at Indy's Awards he mentioned “It feels nice to know that there are people in the industry who recognize our efforts & innovation.”
With this business model initiated by Mr. Gupta, The Loot has not only scaled new heights in the retail sector but has also changed the perception of discount stores across the country. Today the company has grown from a single store with 8 brands to over 145 stores (fast racing towards 200) stocking over 100 National & International Brands including Levis, Eccentrics, Reebok, Nike, Spykar, Adidas, Arrow, Busstop, Park Avenue, Van Heusen, Puma and many more.
This multi brand store not only houses big brands, but also offers a discount band of minimum 25% to a maximum of 60% throughout the year.
