IIFM Bhopal all set to organize the Climate Change Conference: EnviroConclave 2010

Indian Institute of Forest Management, one of the best sectoral management institutes in Asia, was set up by the Ministry of Environment and Forests in 1989 to provide high quality management education with specializations in Development, Environment and Conservation and Livelihood Management. As part of its endeavor to provide exposure to different aspects of Environment and allied domains, the student fraternity of IIFM started an academic cell, Climate Change and Environmental Core Competency Cell which organizes interactive sessions with personalities who have carved a niche for themselves and have made a mark in this field.The Cell organized a one day conference on Climate Change & Business Sustainability, ENVIRO CONCLAVE in October 2009. This year also, they are organizing the conclave on 9th October 2010. The main theme of the conference is "Climate Change: Challenges and Opportunities for Businessess in the 21st Century"

The conference will have three major events:

1. Guest lectures by eminent personalities on the main theme.

2. Panel Discussion on: “Challenges and Opportunities in Climate Finance”

3. Paper Presentation on: “Technology and Climate Change”

Already leading names from the industry have confirmed to attend the event. The bright young students from the E cell of IIFM are leaving no stones unturned to make this event a grand success. Watch this space for more updates.
