"Its Different" Sociopreneurship India 2010

Now I don’t want to sound like the end number of Bollywood film directors and producers who claim every movie to be different but here I want to make a genuine claim that we have put together an event which is definitely different

First of all when we went looking for social entrepreneurs from across the country, (who have for profit business models, are leveraging mobile or other technologies) we thought getting to the gems would be difficult. But the Indian entrepreneurial eco system is on a roll and what we found has most definitely delighted and surprised us. Startups from across the country, are relentlessly building something meaningful, some among us are on a complete social mission but with profitability in mind. We have hand picked such social entrepreneurs from various parts of India and on 23^rd you will get to meet these young leaders.

Moving ahead, as startups its important for us to have meaningful networking with industry professionals, corporates, Investors and ofcourse media. I am grateful to all the senior professionals who have consented to take out time be there on 23^rd to engage and mentor the startups.

Our objective remains clear – everyone should benefit from this while we strive to create a benchmark Social entrepreneurship event.
