Srihari Sampath Kumar has a background in B.Tech from IIT Chennai, MS (Washington University),and is an MBA from Wharton. LeadFormix was founded in 2008 and has 5 branches at present with 104 employees.

Please explain how LeadFormix is ahead of other B2B solutions?

LeadFormix is the most comprehensive and sophisticated marketing automation platform that any marketer would just love to use. The business model is a monthly subscription for our SaaS based product in the cloud.

How do you plan to scale-up the business?

Through a combination of channel sales to the mid-tier customers and direct sales to large enterprises.

What has been the biggest challenge in your market niche?

Trying to win in a market where VC funded companies are selling below cost just to gain marketshare.

What kind of growth have you had so far?

Within 2.5 years the company is 104 people, is cash flow positive, and has made a name for itself in the industry as an up and coming player to watch.

What do you count as your biggest achievement? Any awards or recognition?

Establishing ourselves as a leading player in a crowded and fragmented market without having to raise institutional capital

We won the TiE 50 award as one of the 50 most promising technology companies by TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs). The 50 were selected out of over 3,600 companies in the race for this rare honor.

What keeps you from giving up on entrepreneurship?

The amount of learning and experience gained is just unparalleled. That learning is a true asset wherever the entrepreneur goes in the future

Become the largest marketing automation vendor in the market

What is your advice to novice entrepreneurs?

Give yourself ample time to be successful. As a great philosopher once said, “Don’t plant the seed of success and keep pulling it out to see whether it has germinated – then it will never germinate”. Your worst enemy is being impatient.

In your opinion what is an entrepreneur's biggest challenge?

Finding good sales talent is the biggest challenge for Indian entrepreneurs who are technologists.
