This season, German major PUMA has launched its e-commerce portal - PumaShop.in to offer online savvy and brand conscious consumers the opportunity to buy merchandise at the convenience of a click.With the launch of this portal PUMA expects to enhance its positioning in the e-commerce space. Though there are many e-commerce portals where PUMA merchandise is available, www.pumashop.in will provide a wider range to the Indian consumer in addition to providing them a PUMA browsing experience.
Rajiv Mehta, Managing Director, PUMA India said, “E-commerce is an integral part of PUMA India’s strategy. With enhanced digitalization, internet penetration and savvy consumers, we aim to provide them an equally seamless, efficient and enjoyable shopping experience through our e-shop. Further we would like to stay closer and be in touch more frequently with our consumers through this platform.”
PUMA is expecting that this e-commerce portal will contribute to 10% of the company’s overall revenues by 2015.
