They say art is a great healer for the mind and soul andBangalore based venture, Go Creative, uses arts and crafts as a means to enliven busy, monotonous lives. It was entrepreneurs Rashmi and Sowmya’s passion for art that gave birth to Go Creative. Apart from conducting art and craft workshops for corporates, they also offer hand-made products in mosaic art, 3D origami, glass painting, paper craft, bottle art and decoupage among other art forms.Jubin Mehta from YourStory.in finds out more about the venture.

When was Go Creative established? How did the idea come about?

We (Rashmi and Sowmya) founded Go Creative in October 2010. We realized that people today lead extremely hectic and stressful lifestyles and have limited options to rejuvenate themselves. Our endeavour is promote art as a stress buster for our potential customers.

What kind of products do you offer?

We constantly upgrade our product designs and the techniques used in making artefacts. We have a diverse product range which can be explored on our website. Customers also have the option to personalize these products according to their tastes and preferences. After discussing the customization required with our client, we then finalize the price.

What is your mode of payment?

Currently, we are following the cash on delivery model for payment.

Who creates these products?

All Creative Go products have been created by us. We try and ensure that they are high in quality.

You conduct workshops for corporates? Please elaborate.

We conduct workshops for corporates on special occasions like annual day celebrations, Women's Day celebrations and for team building exercises. Our workshops provide an opportunity for people to recognize their creative inclinations. We have also conducted workshops at events and carnivals like Corpfest v1.0, Sambrahma @ Kreeda Chouki, etc. We customize our workshops according to our customers. We also conduct art classes for individuals and groups.

How has the journey been since Go Creative’s inception in 2010?

It has been a humble beginning for Go Creative. Initially, we bagged a lot of customers through word of mouth. We have made personalized products for about 25 people so far. Recently, we conducted a team building exercise for a company, which included 30 participants. We are now in the process of striking deals with different corporates to conduct workshops in their campuses.
