Online Real-Estate Services for Mumbaikars With FirstGhar.com
Firstghar.com is an online real-estate service that aims to help one make wise and profitable decisions related to buying, selling, renting and leasing of properties, in India and key global geographies. Firstghar.com intends to provide a fresh new approach to its users to search for properties to buy or rent, and list their properties for selling or leasing.“We have ensured that we give our customers complete control through easy to use interfaces and features that can help them identify, filter and contact potential buyers and sellers for properties. Easy to use admin panel and CRM Module helps you manage every listing and keep a track of every lead not only online leads but also walk-in leads,” says Co-founder, Jigar Zatakia.
Their primary objective is to educate users to use the CRM which includes features like: A simple and easy to use application to manage both online and offline leads, Lead Management, Alerts, Internal Mails, Download to Excel and PDF, Follow up tracking, Analytics and Reports.
Based in Mumbai, FirstGhar.com launched their beta model last week, on 20th April, 2012. Currently, they are operational in Mumbai, Navi-Mumbai and Thane with 30 property consultants registered on their website and 75 listings so far.
Any individual/property consultant/real estate developer who wants to buy/sell/rent any kind of property is their prospective customer.
“Our revenue model is quite simple. It is mainly from the advertisers which include developers, property consultants. For the beta phase, we plan to keep all the listings free,” Jigar adds. They also claim to have a tie-up with well-known and reputed builders and developers.
There are numerous players in the market with a similar product, but the founders believe with a more simplified user interface and with additional features like CRM, they can bring a change. Simplicity and better service, in their belief, is their USP.
Starting up:
Ateev Gala, a commerce graduate with prior experience in the Real Estate business; Gautam Udani, who handles IT and technical aspects; and Jigar Zatakia, who handles Ecommerce at Infini Systems came together to start FirstGhar.com.
Understanding the needs of the consumer, they believed they needed to build a platform to suit the end user. They are self-funded for now. Apart from the 3 founding members, they have a team of 20 sales people and 3 engineers and 2 others for Business Administration.
“Our aim at FirstGhar.com is to understand the needs and concerns of individuals, agents and builders and provide them a common platform for realizing maximum benefits from real-estate,” Jigar, who is also the co-founder of MADOrders, concludes.
