Delhi and Boston based Shareaholic Raises $3 Million Series A Funding
Jay Meattle, founder and CEO of Shareaholic, announced via a blog post that they have secured $3 million Series A funding from Kepha Partners. All the existing partners General Catalyst Partners, NextView Ventures, 500Startups, Boston Seed, and other angels participated in the round. The size of the previous round was $2 million.Shareaholic provides browser tools to share and save interesting links via social networks, email, blogs and more. Shareaholic also provides publishers with analytics tools to measure how users are sharing their content.
Shareaholic claims to reach over 300 million users across every continent every month. Recently, Shareaholic added former Yahoo! CTO, Raymie Stata, as an advisor to their team.
The funds shall be used to further accelerate and support the product roadmap.
Shareaholic has offices in both New Delhi and Boston, with a team of 10 people across both the offices. They are looking to hire two more engineers to join their team.
