Mumbai Based Food Ordering Outfit Titbit.com acquires Foodkamood.com

Titbit.com today announced that it has done 100% acquisition of Foodkamood.com and the successful roll out of their Corporate Ordering

Platform. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Mumbai, India, Titbit.com a Valuable Group company, enables its customers to easy ordering of food from over 400 restaurants in Mumbai and Pune serving over 40 different cuisines.

Titbit.com is a part of a hospitality platform that includes iPad based Digital Menu Ordering, Self-Service Kiosk solutions for Quick Service Restaurants (

QSR ) and the Titbit Mobile Ordering platform that enables consumers to order food from restaurants, save their favorites and do quick ordering while on the road. Titbit’s digital menu platform is the most advanced platform that is already serving numerous restaurants in the US, UK, Turkey, Singapore and India. Few restaurants where titbit digital menu’s are operational are Mainland China – Andheri west, Pebbles – Andheri, iBar – Bandra, Flavors – Delhi, Prego Westin – Pune, etc.Since it’s inception in 2009 Food Ka Mood was offering a similar service covering specifically the South Mumbai area extending from Colaba to Mahim. With Titbit.com being a player in the telephone based food ordering for restaurants space, the Food Ka Mood integration will provide consumers a larger choice of restaurants and an even more seamless ordering process. In addition to the Food Ka Mood acquisition, Titbit.com announced the successful roll out of the Titbit Corporate Program to the likes of Morgan Stanley, Bank of America - Meryl Lynch, and AZB partners. The Titbit corporate program offers companies an expense management process for employees in place of an expense report submissions.

Commenting on the deal Ameya Hete, Founder and CEO of Titbit.com, said, “Our vision with Titbit.com is to provide consumers with a single comprehensive platform for their food ordering needs. With the Food Ka Mood acquisition we’re further providing consumers with a bigger choice and much more streamlined ordering process. With this transition Food Ka Mood users will now benefit from our strong technical platform that enables Mobile Ordering off of their phones, a 24x 7 support framework and a very lucrative Customer Loyalty Program.” Talking about future growth plans, Ameya said, “Titbit is working to grow organically as well as through inorganic moves. With our strong technical base and our unique business model, we’re looking at rapidly expanding our service to all tier 1 cities, immediately followed by Tier-2 cities across the country.”

Tanuj More, founder of Food Ka Mood will now exit the business. Commenting on the deal, Tanuj said, “Foodkamood had created significant value over last three years in Mumbai’s market and was a good synergistic fit for Titbit for further expansion.Having run this business for over 3 years and understanding the challenges faced by the restaurant community, I feel that Titbit’s strong technical platform will immediately allow them to gain the necessary market share.”
