GSF Accelerator Opens up applications for the second batch; Will select 20 promising startups
Rajesh Sawhney’s GSF Accelerator is the first one in India to try out a multi city format with their first batch where in they had centers in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai. 15 startups were selected for the inaugural batch that presented at the demo day in Delhi. Recently expanding to Chennai, the accelerator has opened up applications for the second batch.
The month long search will select 20 startups out of India, 5 from each of the 4 cities. The startups in the first batch were given an initial funding of INR 15 lakhs in return for equity of around 7-10%. GSF also brings along with it a network of international mentors and a rigorous 9 week program where the startups are made ready to hit the market. 9 of the 15 startups from the first batch have received subsequent funding.
