7 steps to eliminate the locked door between successful entrepreneurship and you
It’s not the door, not even the lock but just a key hole between you and your success, that’s true I haven’t mentioned ‘the key’ in statement because key is something you always have with you. The only reason of failure is that you are not able to fetch the key through the right key hole.
There can be more than a million problems in this world some of them we can’t even assume but basics are always there for anything, remember this universe is a balance of everything, no lock is made without keys. Let’s discuss some fundamentals of solving a problem and unblocking your progress towards the badge of successful entrepreneur.1. Forecasting – Check up each possibility of glory to disaster and anticipate the possible road blocks from a little far. It will give you some time to prepare and you will not face any decline in pace because of the road blocks. Honestly this is not going to work 100% every time because entrepreneurship itself is a new road with unlimited possibilities, that’s why you chose it in the first place right?
2. Introducing “The key” – All of a sudden you are in an unwanted less anticipated situation, here comes the door with lock in trick, Now what just take a deep breath and allow yourself to calm and identify the key with or around you. It can be an idea, a friend or a mentor but it cannot be an ‘U’ turn.
3. Stand closer to the lock - it is required that you are looking closer into the eyes of problem or say you know what kind of lock and where it’s key hole is. Ignoring the closer look will lead your attempts to death and it will look like you are trying to open a lock standing dozen of steps away from it and throwing raw keys toward it with so much (fake) expectations of piercing the levers inside.
4. Brain storming – Include every person with brain here, play simulation with the ideas repeat step 1 of forecasting and see your team is up with a plan. It’s time to implement the idea. From brain storming and up to the plan keep reminding your team (and yourself) about last five words of step 2.
5. Use the key right – The most youthful but immature entrepreneurs fall here in over excitement and later they blame ‘the key’. What actually happens in their case is they come up with an approved idea but then they take it for granted and don’t proceed with actual focus. Assume some one beating the lock or gate with a key will he be able to open the lock? Don’t lose focus go slow once you overcome the problems there is enough time to accelerate.
6. Don’t try hammer – Very simple, you are trying to break an unknown lock by knocking it so hard and loud. This act of impatience is getting the attention of industry people, competitors, and your audience but in the worst scenario your future VC’s, making them realise that you are only good for hammers not for business. Every problem teaches you to be prepared and gives you plenty of experiences for upcoming riddles. When you will be in a position where you had invested most of your time and energy in knocking up the previous locks there can be a lock which will surely ask for experience and elegance by proving your hammer trick a baby thing.
7. Discuss socially – Share your experiences with others and learn from similar industry people. So what’s your story of getting through some lock, what worked for you? Most of our readers would love to learn from it, let’s share some real examples/advices of ourselves as Entrepreneurs I promise a thank you note for every comment in reply. Try it.
