JustUnfollow.com is a friend management app for Twitter and Instagram that was founded by Nischal Shetty in February 2010. Also a Tech30 company, JustUnfollow has been one of the fastest growing consumer web starups from India. At its core, JustUnfollow is a tool to help users manage their followers better on Twitter (and later on Instagram). In an announcement today, JustUnfollow has done a complete redesign of its iOS and Android apps.

The revamp completely relooks the design to have better-streamlined interfaces and improved navigation. The logo also gets overhauled and now represents a finger on the button. JustUnfollow is about taking quick actions (following, unfollowing) and the logo symbolizes this sentiment.

The new iOS and Android designs, which launch alongside JustUnfollow’s new logo, will be the app’s fifth versions on both platforms. “We’ve been iterating at a fast pace, which is why we are one of the top apps on both iOS and Android for Twitter and Instagram. JustUnfollow is turning into an app that is not only helping consumers clean their social networks, but also helping businesses to find the right target audience for their social media accounts,” says Shetty.

JustUnfollow is based out of Mumbai and has grown to a team of 8 as of now.

Here are some numbers about the app:

Users: 4 Million

Total Unfollows: 1 Billion

iOS downloads: 0.5 Million

Android downloads: 1.2 Million

Total Monthly visitors: 18 Million

Daily new signups: 15000

JustUnfollow has a fairly large number of paid users as well, details about which haven't revealed. This has helped the company sustain and maintain a good growth rate. Next in line on the product roadmap would be Facebook integration.
