Here are the winners from the IBM SmartCamp India 2014, top startups in the B2B space
The IBM SmartCamp 2014 in India is a program aimed at identifying great B2B Startups who have Products or Solutions for Enterprises and are harnessing technologies such as Cloud, Big Data & Analytics, Mobile and Internet of Things. Thirty startups were shortlisted last week from a nation wide Hunt for the best B2B Startups. The 30 Startups pitched to an esteemed panel of VCs and Top IBM Execs that selected 6 Startups for the Finale, which was on October 10th. The evening on the finale was an exciting one and here are the winners:
Stelae Technologies (first prize): Stelae provides an automated solution which enables an end to end work-flow in the transformation space both on the cloud and on-site for defence implementations. Their cloud-based product, Khemeia™ enables the creation of structured, searchable and reusable information from unstructured content. Content sector focus includes technical documentation, legal content, company accounts, contracts, publishing, etc. They have over 10 million pages of content processed from multiple formats, languages creating multiple output formats. Drona mobile (second prize): Drona is an app builder DIY platform with inbuilt CMS, form builders, notification systems, user management, analytics and integration plugins with native APIs for creating extensions on the mobile app created. A mobile app can be created for all business problems using drag drop and visual tools keeping enterprise security and user policies intact. (more on them)
The other finalists:
Shopsense: Shopsense enables retailers to sell more by digitally engaging consumers and understanding their shopping behavior in stores. The cloud hosted platform integrates with existing data infrastructure within the retail environment and creates a new data source which captures consumer behavior during shopping. It is the bridge between the ease, convenience and personalization of digital technology with the touch, feel and experience of physical retail.
A3RMT: They have a Solution for Emergency Medical response to save lives anywhere in World. Their rugged solution works in the Emerging market condition. It can be considered as a ER in a Pocket. More than 1000 lives were saved using their solution.
Wolken Software: They have an integrated service desk, SaaS based application. Their solution is easy to configure (self service), easy to use, role based, secure, scalable solution.
Talview: They have tools that help organizations assess job candidates remotely via internet on platforms including mobile , ensuring that all assessments are proctored eliminating malpractices. Their analytics help them evaluate the effectiveness of the processes and improve them for better results.
