Kyron Global Accelerator unveils third batch of startups
Kyron Global Accelerator, which plans to invest in 500 startups in five years, has announced its third batch of startups, most of which come from the enterprise or media space.
Two of its portfolio companies, Scandid and Teritree, were in the news this year for fund raising, while a third – Bookpad -- was acquired by Yahoo.
“Our expanded investor network now includes prominent angel and institutional funds in India, and a very active network of angels out of Europe,” Lalit Ahuja, founding partner of Kyron said.
“Based on our recent successes, we will continue to focus our startup companies on fundraising and in delivering business growth,” he added.
Kyron offers upto $30,000 in funding in return for 6-10% equity stake, in addition to providing CXO Services, corporate connects and access to a global network of investors.
Here are the companies in Kyron’s third batch:
Cubito: A Transportation logistics Automation startup, infusing intelligence into business processes involving transportation. Cubito is the winner of the startup boot camp, Berlin's event held in India and also a finalist in the Indian Sustainability national awards.
Xpense Manager: A cloudapps Software as a Service company addressing traditional problems in areas of business productivity & finance domain by devising applications which are more user focused than process driven. XpenseManager is targeted to simplify the process of expense claims & reimbursements inside companies.
Eywa Media Innovations: Eywa Media is a product that would make TV watching interactive and fun. They are working with leading broadcasters in India.
Viamagus: A SaaS product startup that helps simplify the way businesses and individuals build & maintain their online presence and do business online. Viamagus' cloud based tools help you build websites & portfolios, blogs, Email/SMS Campaigns, landing pages and many more very quickly and in a code-free and fully hosted manner. They already have 100 + Customers in our fold and looking to grow exponentially in the next few months.
Cashkumar: An online platform that provides the best rates for foreign currency exchange in Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune. With a stable aggregation platform backed by a reverse bidding process, travelers can easily buy or sell their foreign currency and travel insurance at the best possible rates.
Adwyze: A marketing optimization platform, which allows marketers to improve the performance of their marketing budgets. It has won the 1st prize at MIT Global Startup Labs, won FB Ads API access after winning a hackathon beating out other companies in APAC. Have also been selected for Google Launch pad. Currently working with India’s top 3 e-tailers in private beta. Have also raised the seed round from a private angel.
