To familiarise companies with the way YS Profiles works, YourStory, in collaboration with Bombay Connect, a Mumbai-based co-working space looking to bring creative minds together, held two informal orientation sessions at the latter’s headquarters at the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). Following an introduction by team-members on how companies can sign up with YS Profiles, and the parameters they must meet for the same, we invited a series of renowned entrepreneurs, aspiring startups and investors to speak about their inspiring individual stories at the event.
These included names like Parthasarathi Sinha, co-founder of Adoro; Authenticook, a Mumbai-based food startup, and Athlete’s Today, another Mumbai-based sports management startup. The floor was later opened to entrepreneurs hailing from a series of B2B and B2C companies and industries, excited to share their journey thus far. The event also proved to be a great networking meet for those present, to build contacts with fellow entrepreneurs in their own field and for investors looking out for the next big game-changing idea.
The venue, which hosts a number of startup offices, proved the perfect setting. Based on the positive response from the two events, we hope to host several more of these in the future!
