Google Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL to be available exclusively on Flipkart, pre-order starts Oct 26

Flipkart and Google announced today that the latter's latest flagship smartphones, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, will be exclusively available online on Flipkart. Pre-orders will commence on October 26 at 12 am and deliveries for the same will begin from November 1.

The five-inch Pixel 2 with a cinematic OLED display will be available in Just Black, Clearly White, and Kinda Blue. On the other hand, the six-inch Pixel 2 XL has a pOLED 18:9 display which allows users to create a full-screen, immersive viewing experience, and comes in Just Black and Black and White.

Both phones are powered by Android 8.0 Oreo and come with an always-on display that lets users see notifications on the screen at a glance without having to touch the power button.

Apple too had recently launched its flagship smartphone devices iPhone 8 and iPhone X. While the iPhone 8 went on sale in September 2017, iPhone X is expected to launch on October 27, 2017, at a starting price of Rs 89,000. 

Flipkart also shared that those who pre-order Pixel 2 will get access to exclusive offers, which include:

1)   Free Sennheiser headset worth Rs 11,990

2)   Rs 8,000 cashback on EMI transactions done with HDFC Bank credit cards

3)   Guaranteed 50 percent buyback value when you upgrade your Pixel

4)   Extra Rs 5,000 off on exchange of select phone models

5)   No-cost EMI starting at Rs 3,389 per month

In addition to this, Flipkart noted that it has also planned to give away the Google Daydream View 2 to five selected winners of the social media contest run on Facebook which ends on October 25.

In the past too, Flipkart has partnered with companies like Google and Xiaomi for exclusive launches. Amazon.in too has a similar strategy and partners with companies like OnePlus for exclusive phone launches apart from holding exclusive sales of its own smart devices like Amazon Echo.
