OPPO users to get up to 100GB additional Jio 4G data
Chinese handset maker OPPO on Monday partnered with telecom operator Reliance Jio to provide special data benefits to new buyers.
According to the new offer, customers who purchase a new OPPO handset and recharge with a denomination of Rs 399 or above will get additional 4G data up to 100GB.
The additional data voucher will be credited to the customer within 48 hours of recharge. To activate the additional data voucher, customers are required to download the MyJio app on their Oppo devices.
"For OPPO, customer satisfaction and delivering the best experience has always been a key focus area. Through this association, we will be able to reach out to more consumers," said Will Yang, Brand Director, OPPO India, in a statement.
The offer is applicable to the entire line-up of OPPO 4G smartphones.
The company launched F5 smartphone last month that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to enhance selfies.
The handset sports a 6-inch Full HD+ screen with a resolution of 2160x1080 and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The screen to body ratio is 84.2 percent. The fingerprint sensor has been moved to the back.
Earlier on Monday, Oppo announced a 6GB RAM variant of the Oppo F3 Plus, a selfie-focused smartphone it had launched in India back in March. Priced at Rs. 22,990, the Oppo F3 Plus 6GB RAM variant will go on sale from Thursday, November 16, exclusively via Flipkart. The e-commerce site has also listed launch offers for the smartphone. Apart from increased RAM, the smartphone's specifications remain identical, including on the dual front camera setup that made the original famous.
Oppo F5 is the latest in the company’s selfie expert series after Oppo F3. In continuation, the company has launched the F5 with a 20-megapixel front sensor measuring 1/2.8-inches with a f/2.0 aperture and the 'AI Beauty Technology'.
The technology includes a database of human faces from around the world that captures the details of the user on the basis of the skin tones, gender, age etc. thus giving the best selfies to the user.
