Q1: Grocery buying
As ecommerce spreads to smaller towns, the process needs to be simplified without the use of complicated coupons, wallets or discounts. Where is the entrepreneurial opportunity here?
Q2: Pediatric care
Parents complain about having to navigate a hospital for everyday needs of pediatric care such as vaccinations and consultations. How can these problems be addressed.?

Q3: Oncology care
Many genomic datasets are largely representative of Western populations. But the underrepresentation of non-Caucasian populations in such datasets affects precision oncology in other markets. How can this gap be bridged?
Q4: Security
Modern physical security teams face increased threats, more systems to keep track of, and software that is siloed. How can their threat preparedness be improved?
Q5: Beyond the cloud
The current wave of AI development is largely cloud-first, but this affects performance in more remote areas like hospitals, factory floors, defense installations, and rural locations. How can this constraint be tackled?

Answers!
Congratulations on having come this far! But there’s more to come – answers to these five questions (below), as well as links to articles with more details on the entrepreneurs’ solutions. Happy reading, happy learning – and happy creating!
A1: Grocery buying
“Grocery buying in Tier II and III cities is more local, more habitual and much more value-conscious,” explains Priyanshu Jain, Co-founder and CEO, BazaarNow. It is building quick commerce for the next wave of Indian consumers in a manner different from metros.
“They are building a commerce experience that is local, simple, efficient and deeply relevant to how millions of Indian households already buy,” says Abhishek Mohan, Managing Director, Peak XV. Read more here about how its platform combines a vernacular-first app experience, AI-powered local language search, and an assisted commerce layer.
A2: Pediatric care
Founded by Deeksha Senguttuvan, Hoola Health is building an integrated paediatric care ecosystem. It combines consultations, vaccinations, developmental therapies, and diagnostics at child-first clinics, supported by digital tools for families.
The startup was earlier known as BabyMD, but rebranded to serve children across more stages of growth. Read more here about how it has raised $5 million in a round led by Peak XV’s Surge.

A3: Oncology care
Founded by Hitesh Goswami and Kshitij Rishi, 4baseCare is addressing gaps in genomic data diversity that limit the effectiveness of precision cancer care for non-Western populations. Its AI-based precision oncology platform supports clinicians with deeper, clinically actionable insights.
Its OncoTwin platform enables oncologists to derive treatment insights from real-world clinico-genomic and outcomes-linked datasets. Read more here about how it is expanding its hospital-linked genomics laboratory network across India, Middle East, Latin America, and Central Asia.
A4: Security
Co-founded by Ashesh Jain, Coram AI has built AI-powered capability with autonomous security agents. They can analyse videos, access events, and respond to visitor activity across cameras, locations, and time, answering complex security and operational questions.
This helps catch risks earlier, and keep schools, hospitals, and workplaces safer instead of just documenting what went wrong. Read more here about how the physical security sector is thus being transformed by modern AI.

A5: Beyond the cloud
Headed by Ankush Sabharwal, CoRover AI develops on-premise AI systems that are structurally compliant from the ground up. This also removes the latency arising from the distance between AI solution users and data centers.
“You'll get better accuracy on device, faster response time on device,” he explains. Read more here about how CoRover has used NVIDIA's DGX Spark, and has been able to train models of up to three billion parameters, entirely without cloud.
