Indian Bank partners with IBM for tech modernisation
IBM has collaborated with Indian Bank, a public sector bank, to accelerate its modernisation path with flexible and secure compute infrastructure for deploying new front-end banking applications while addressing the business growth of the Core Banking Solution (CBS) workloads for the bank.
As part of their Project PARADISE, Indian Bank wanted to consolidate their Front Branch Servers for better manageability and availability at both Data Centres (DC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) centres, while also running their CBS workloads on the latest generation of IBM Power servers.
To meet the bank’s digital infrastructure needs, IBM proposed a hybrid cloud approach for all AIX workloads to boost agility and introduced a combination of capex and opex models for the consumption of compute resources. Essentially, it provides infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and aims to deliver various capabilities such as additional compute and storage, build a private cloud using the available resources, create a single pool of processors across DC and DR and enable services equivalent to a pay-as-you-grow model.

Netskope unveils new digital experience management solution
Netskope, a cybersecurity company, has launched Proactive Digital Experience Management (DEM) for Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), a cloud-based security framework with the aim to elevate the best practice from the current reactive monitoring tools to proactive user experience management.
According to the company, Proactive DEM provides experience management capabilities across the entire SASE architecture, including Netskope Intelligent SSE, Netskope Borderless SD-WAN, and Netskope NewEdge global infrastructure.
Digital Experience Management technology has become increasingly crucial amid digital business transformation, with organisations seeking to enhance customer experiences and improve employee engagement.
