Decongest Bengaluru

I am Suresh Kumar K N from Ayyappanagar, Jalahalli west. I am trying to give a solution for the traffic woes in this part of Bengaluru. We have seen in newspapers about the possibility of restricting about 6000 buses entering the city. There is a suggestion to reopen the Basaveshwara Bus Stand at peenya catering to places like north Karnataka, Tumkur, Davangere, Hassan and Mangalore.

My suggestion is to have a metro station at the metro depot, which is adjacent to the Bus stand at peenya. People alighting at the bus stand should be able to reach the metro station by using a skywalk across the road.By doing this, it will save the people to connect to different parts of the city from this bus stand using the metro which is going to become fully operational this june 17th according to newspaper reports and thus reducing the pollution on the roads caused by buses and other means of transport. The metro timings should be aligned in such a way that when two trains passes from jalahalli, one train can leave the depot station.
