The Holiday

It was long we had not been for a holiday and since it was summer and the kids had their Summer Vacations, which is a pretty long one..The first thing that came up on my mind was Holiday, and Holiday abroad would be a fantastic idea.

I called a Holiday expert to get more clarity on the destination and then filter the destination we would prefer to go based on cost, activities,what the place offer, shopping and since kids are involved how can we engage them there. After lots of phone calls, and exchange of mails we finalized on Thailand as the fun destination for us, and we were to pay the token amount to book our tickets, and to our surprise the tickets rates shot up high and we could not afford it anymore. Disappointed we , had to cancel our International Travel plans and started focusing on some domestic holiday packages. Well, there were many domestic packages available the Travel consultant came up with variety of destinations in India and we finally thought of travelling to Kerala- 6 nights 7 days package for 2 Adults and 2 children, The cost was in our budget and we had opted for 4 star properties with great views and a houseboat for backwaters.

The Kids really enjoyed their holiday and we also enjoyed since it was a long awaited trip as a family.

I highly recommend people a trip at least once in six months , its healing, rejuvenating and the bonds improve.This was a small story on how we thought of going for an international holiday and then went on joyful domestic Kerala holidays and super fun!
