Nowadays, it is perfectly normal to travel by air, compact vehicles and even motorcycles. One more important thing is that you should travel lightly. Most of the airlines today charge the passengers for every checked bag. Even those other airlines that allow one bag will charge for additional fees and weight limit is a factor. Vehicles like compact car can get a better mileage, however, they don't carry enough spacious trunks unlike luxury vehicles and SUV's. Motorcycle has limited luggage space and usually, the travelers will have to use only backpacks and saddle bags.

So, how do we travel and leave unnecessary things from our baggage? Below are some great travel tips from Holiday Inn Paramatta for packing our things on our next destination:

Don't let your traveling bag bulky

First, you should consider your destination. Is it a vacation? Perhaps a business travel? Are you climbing a mountain? Will you visit the beach soon? If you have found out the kind of trip you're doing, you can pack your luggage accordingly. If you're staying in a hotel, you don't need to bring some toiletries with you. These hotels are usually providing soap, shampoo and conditioner, and lotion. You can also use their provided blow dryers and irons. Now, if you are unsure about these provided things, you can make a call to the hotel or check their website for amenities and freebies. Eliminate those bulky items like shampoo.

If it is inevitable for you to bring the toiletries, put them in a zip-lock to prevent from leakage. You can also use small bottles to refill for your shampoo or toothpaste. It will save a lot of space in your baggage. Baggies are also useful for keeping safely your wallets, IDs, jewelries and money. Use a passport holder for your passport.

Pack Accordingly

Most of the time, hotels and resorts have laundry facilities, so you don't need to bring your closet with you. You must utilize the luggage space efficiently. You should roll your clothes – including lingerie – like shirts, then tuck them on small corner or in between larger items. Casual wear – like shorts and light-weight shirts – is good for vacation. Choose wisely on your wardrobe, choose something that you can mix and match. For the footwear, limit them. Bring a pair of walking shoes, sandals and slippers.

Something useful

To protect your belongings, consider using a hard suitcase. Ir does not get tossed around at airports. When you travel by air, always carry an extra clothing in your carry-on bag so you can change any time.
