MSME Minister visits Vietnam to boost bilateral ties

Shri Giriraj Singh, Minister of State for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) had a bilateral meeting with Mr Nguyen Chi Dzung, Minister of Planning and Investment in Hanoi, Vietnam. The minister visited Ba Trang Ceramic Village and closely examined the manufacturing process of various kind of pottery items by Vietnamese artisans.

He also paid a visit to a Bamboo Floor Manufacturing Plant, M/s Minh Truc Xuan MTV Co. Ltd in Hanoi, which makes bamboo flooring and furniture for Vietnamese market and exports. The Minister also toured the Garment 10 Corporation of Vietnam (Garco 10), which is one of the biggest exporters of garments from Vietnam. The visit is likely to boost the trade relations between India and Vietnam and help the MSMEs.
