இந்தியாவில் இருந்து இரு சக்கர மின் வாகனங்களை ஏற்றுமதி செய்ய நல்ல வாய்ப்பு இருப்பதாகவும், குறிப்பாக இந்திய நிறுவனங்கள் ஏற்கனவே, பாரம்பரிய இஞ்ஜின் வாகனங்களை விற்பனை செய்து கொண்டிருக்கும் நாடுகளில் இந்த வாய்ப்பு அதிகம் உள்ளது என்று மத்திய அமைச்சர் நிதின் கட்காரி கூறியுள்ளார்.
இந்தியாவில் இருந்து இரு சக்கர மின் வாகனங்களை ஏற்றுமதி செய்ய நல்ல வாய்ப்பு இருப்பதாகவும், குறிப்பாக இந்திய நிறுவனங்கள் ஏற்கனவே, பாரம்பரிய இஞ்ஜின் வாகனங்களை விற்பனை செய்து கொண்டிருக்கும் நாடுகளில் இந்த வாய்ப்பு அதிகம் உள்ளது என்று மத்திய அமைச்சர் நிதின் கட்காரி கூறியுள்ளார்.
ரிவோல்ட் மோட்டார்ஸ் மின் வாகன அறிமுகம் நிகழ்ச்சியில் பேசிய போது இவ்வாறு குறிப்பிட்ட மத்திய அமைச்சர் கட்காரி, இந்தியாவில் உற்பத்தி செய்யப்படும் 50 சதவீத மோட்டார் சைக்கிள்கள் ஏற்றுமதி செய்யப்படுவதாக குறிப்பிட்டார்.
பஜாஜ் ஆட்டோ, டிவிஎஸ் மோட்டார், ஹீரோ மோட்டோ கார்ப் உள்ளிட்ட நிறுவனங்கள் சர்வதேச அளவில் வலுவான இருப்பை கொண்டுள்ளன என்றும் அமைச்சர் தெரிவித்தார்.
ரிவோல்ட் மோட்டார்ஸ் நிறுவனம் அருகாமை நாடுகள் மற்றும் ஆப்பிரிக்க, லத்தீன் அமெரிக்க நாடுகளில் உள்ள வாய்ப்புகளை பரிசீலிக்க வேண்டும் என்றும் அமைச்சர் கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்.
ரிவோல்ட் மோட்டார்ஸ் பின்னே உள்ள ரட்டன் இந்தியா எண்டர்பிரைசஸ் தலைவர் மற்றும் இணை நிறுவனர் அஞ்சலி ரட்டன், நிறுவனம் இலங்கைக்கு ஏற்றுமதி செய்யும் திட்டத்தை முதல் கட்டமாக கொண்டுள்ளதாக தெரிவித்தார்.
அடுத்த கட்டமாக நேபாளம், ஆப்பிரிக்கா மற்றும் லத்தீன் அமெரிக்க நாடுகளை நாட இருப்பதாகவும் தெரிவித்தார்.
ரிவோல்ட் மோட்டார்ஸ் RV1 பயணிகள் பைக்கை, ரூ.84,990 மற்றும் ரூ.99,990 எனும் அறிமுக விலையில் இரண்டு மாதிரிகளில் அறிமுகம் செய்தது. இவை, 2.2 kwh பாட்டரி- 100 கிமீ ரேச்ஞ் மற்றும் 3.24 kwh பாட்டரி- 160 கிமீ ரேஞ்ச் கொண்டுள்ளன.
பின்னர், செய்தியாளர்களிடம் பேசும்போது, நிறுவனம் அடுத்த ஐந்தாண்டுகளுக்கு ஆண்டுதோறும் ஒரு புதிய வாகனத்தை அறிமுகம் செய்ய இருப்பதாக அஞ்சலி தெரிவித்தார்.
தற்போது 125 ஆக உள்ள விற்பனை மையங்களை அடுத்த 18 மாதங்களில் 500 ஆக உயர்த்த திட்டமிட்டிருப்பதாகவும் கூறினார். இந்த நிதியாண்டிற்குள் 250 டீலர்கள் எனும் எண்ணிக்கையை எட்ட இருப்பதாகவும் தெரிவித்தார்.
