Prasanna Kumar (28), CEO & Managing partner of Brew & Barbeque’s Microbrewery Pub located in Bengaluru, was recently awarded ‘Dynamic Gastro Pub of the Year’. Here are his answers to our Proust questionnaire.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Not being surrounded by difficult people.

What is your greatest fear?
Imagining a future with robots.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Two-faced people who are attention-seeking and materialistic.

Which living person do you most admire?

Suriya, the Kollywood actor and producer.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Fermenting casks of Scotch and Single Malts Whiskeys in my backyard.

What do you most dislike about your appearance?

My stomach which changes shape and size when I cut down my carbs and crave for favourite food biryani.

Which living person do you most despise?
Anyone living with money under their carpets (illegally begotten) who make their own future generations lazy and corrupt. 

What is the quality do you most like in a man?

A man of passion.

What is the quality do you most like in a woman?

A caring heart.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

‘Exactly’, ‘obviously’ and ‘what is your vision’?

What or who is the greatest love of your life?

My mother.

Which talent would you most like to have?

A brain and passion like Colonel Sanders or Mark Zuckerberg.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

Spending less time worrying and trying to keep everyone happy in life.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Failing in one business and picking myself up to make my next business a success.

Where would you most like to live?

Definitely not in anyone’s bad dreams or thoughts.

What is your most treasured possession?

My father

What is your favourite occupation?
Opening more Brew pubs and bars and my own brand of bottled beer, and playing my musical instruments.

What is your most marked characteristic?

Inspiring people and spreading happiness.

What do you most value in your friends?

Loyalty.

James Cameron.

Who are your heroes in real life?
People who are innovative.

What is your favourite name?

Hope (A character's name in a Netflix Series).

What is your greatest regret?

Not hanging out more with my friends during college days and bunking classes.

How would you like to die?
In a Ferrari with all my favourite craft brews and scotch bottles loaded in the seat next to me. I don’t want to leave any worries for my family and friends.

What is your favourite journey?

Ocean travel and sailing.

What is your motto?

Nothing is permanent in life! So, live, love, celebrate and inspire!
