Praveshh Gaur is a management professional and entrepreneur, driven by a passion for fitness. Gaur established Srauta Wellness in 2018 with the aim of giving people a complete wellness package, by bringing everything from a gym to naturopathy treatments under one roof. He also manages companies like 'FastFit', 'Cafe Five Koshas' and Speedways Mega Trucking. Here are his responses to our Proust questionnaire...
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
My idea of perfect happiness is a life which is low on debt and high on health.
What is your greatest fear?
I am a fitness enthusiast, so I get chills thinking of a state where I am unable to take care of myself.
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
Trusting people easily.
What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Disloyalty and greed.
Which living person do you most admire?
There are many who people inspire me during different stages of life, but the two ladies of my life who inspire me the most, are my mother and my wife.
What is your current state of mind?
Relaxed and energized.
What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
Hard work.
On what occasion do you lie?
When I have to inspire others.
What do you most dislike about your appearance?
I like myself inside and out.
What is the quality you most like in a man?
The confidence to inspire others and mindfulness.
What is the quality you most like in a woman?
Patience and elegance.

What or who is the greatest love of your life?
My kid.
Which talent would you most like to have?
The ability to motivate people and inspire them to choose a life of fitness.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Not to be nervous in front of anyone or in any situation.

Turning my vision – Srauta Wellness into reality.
If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?
I want to come back as a human being with the secret power of being able to hear what is going on in another person’s mind.
Where would you most like to live?
Switzerland.
What is your most treasured possession?
My memories.
What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Not able to feed your family and not get medical problems treated because of lack of money.
What is your most marked characteristic?
Not doing what others think I should do.
What do you most value in your friends?
Loyalty and humour.
Who are your favourite writers?
I don’t read much.
Who is your hero of fiction?
Batman!
Which historical figure do you most identify with?
The American business magnate, Howard Hughes.
Who are your heroes in real life?
In real life, we don’t have heroes. A person who is a hero for someone can be a villain for someone else.
What is your favourite name?
I don’t have any favourite name- it is success that matters.
What is it that you most dislike?
Distractions.
What is your greatest regret?
Wasting the early years of my career.
How would you like to die?
When I am really high on life.
