Says Sitashwa Srivastava, CEO & Co-Founder creADivity, the competition saw really good response from the students with more than 20 entries flowing in from around 15 creatives. Considering the fact that the timing of competition coincided with exams, internship and placement season the response is certainly encouraging.
The toughest part was to select the top 6 entries from the submitted group. Shradha Sharma, Founder – YourStory.in, found the same extremely difficult and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of inputs. Nevertheless, as they say someone’s got to win and Yogita Mahato a student of MAEER’s MIT Institute of Design won the first prize for 5000 INR. Her calendar design was built on the theme of education for all and covered the fact that Education cannot be confined to the walls of a classroom and every individual irrespective of age, occupation or religion has right to learn.
Yogita’s other entry on Help the aged also won the prize for 1000 INR. Other winners included Nalisha Chouraria from Srishti – Bangalore, Rukmini Bhatia from MAEER’s MIT, Tarun from BITS Pilani and Vivek Raju
