MITSOB is organizing a workshop “Discover The entrepreneur In You” by Mr. Shantanu Bhagwat who, apart from being a Venture Capitalist and an ex-Diplomat, is also a successful entrepreneur himself. The one day workshop is scheduled on Thursday the 8th October`09 at MCCIA Trade Tower on Senapati Bapat Road, Pune and will begin at 10.30 am.


Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) as one of the premier institutions in the country offering courses in around 60 different fields with State of the Art infrastructure and sprawling campuses. MIT School of Business (MITSOB) which is a part of the MIT Group of Institutions has always been active in creating opportunities of practical learning for the corporate world in a variety of fields.


Today, every corporate expects an entrepreneurial approach from their managers. Entrepreneurial skills can bring in ownership of tasks, high level of accountability, goal orientation and in turn can help sustain competitive advantage over a longer period. For most individuals, mere experience of working in corporate environment brings out the need for acquiring these skills in a sharp focus. Similarly, many senior managers keenly look for opportunities where these skills can be imparted to deserving individuals for enhancing their organizational value and making them better prospects for future. Appreciating this situation, MITSOB is organizing a workshop “Discover The entrepreneur In You”.


In a career spanning two decades, Mr. Bhagwat has worked across geographies and industries, including several years in Japan and in UK. He is currently dividing his time between his assignments in corporate sectors in UK and in India.
