Awarded to Enterprises based on the following criteria:
- Innovativeness and Societal Impact
- Commercial viability of the enterprise
- Potential for Scalability - in terms of size, quantity and volume
- Potential for Replicability - across geographies
Investor Award 2009
Awarded to Investors based on the following criteria:
- Innovativeness and Social impact of the investees
- Investment - Number, Size, Nature, Stage and Consistency of such investments in the state of Tamil Nadu
- Investees - Success of the investees in terms of profitability, sustainability and scale
- Non-financial value added services - other services offered to help the enterprise succeed such as networking, strategy etc.,
Incubator Award 2009
Awarded to Incubators based on the following criteria:
- Innovativeness and social impact of the investees
- Incubatee - Number, Size, Nature, Stage and Consistency of such Incubatees.
- Success of the incubatees in terms of profitability, sustainability and scale
- Other services offered to help the enterprise succeed such as networking, strategy etc.,
Journalist Award 2009
Awarded to Journalists based on the following criteria:
- Relevance and Significance - relevance and significance of the issue chosen.
- Presentation - the style and its ability to influence the target readers, presentation of facts, simplicity of language and logical flow of thoughts
- Quality of research - depth of research and innovativeness of the research methodology
Life-time Achievement Award 2009Awarded to Individuals or Organizations for their contributions to the field of innovations based on the following criteria:
- No of years of work
- Range of contribution - policy advocacy, research to grass-root interventions
- Specific outcomes of his/her contribution
- Credibility and Stature in the sector
Media Award 2009
Awarded to Media based on the following criteria:
- Relevance and Significance - relevance and significance of the issue chosen.
- Presentation - the style and its ability to influence the target readers, presentation of facts.
- Extent and quality of coverage.
