[TC-I Call to Action] Be a force of positive change in the education system through Escuela Nueva

Escuela Nueva India is a social hybrid organization (for and non-profit) with the goal of a creating large-scale improvement of quality of basic education through the implementation of the Escuela Nueva Model. Since 2006, the Indian government has been studying the Escuela Nueva model: through trips organized by the World Bank and UNICEF, over 30 Indian Education Secretaries from various states to visit EN in Colombia. Building on this interest and ENF´s belief in India´s potential for social impact, the organization looks forward to working with the government, through public –private partnership, and with low cost private schools. It has started a pilot project with low cost private schools in Hyderabad and looking to innovatively develop its product to most appropriate meet the needs of these communities. Escuela Nueva is looking to build a team to help them be a force of positive change in the education system in India.
