Under the ConnectIT program, NASSCOM Foundation has previously conducted successful workshops for non-profits and government officials in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Orissa and Gujarat.
Mr. Neeraj from Shree Radhey Prarabdh Smriti Sansthan Jaipur, an NGO working for Cultural Preservation, peace and Harmony & Education was a participant at ConnectIT workshop held in Rajasthan and this what he has to say: "This workshop is very useful to make any NGO self dependent, that too in a minimum time period. Old Systems like Power point, Excel and Word were taught keeping in mind specific objectives of each participant. We were taught how to use them effectively and within the time constraints. Theory along with practical learning was the best and useful part of ConnectIT workshop."
Speaking on the ConnectIT initiative Ms. Rumi Mallick, Associate Vice President, NASSCOM Foundation said, "With ConnectIT, NASSCOM Foundation further enhances the capabilities of NGOs and enable them to build a better infrastructure in their efforts to change lives. The ConnectIT workshops have been a major success in the states of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Orissa. We hope for the same in Karnataka too"
