[YS TV] Indu Subaiya On Upcoming Health 2.0 Conference In Bangalore
Tomorrow in Bangalore, stakeholders from across the healthcare spectrum will gather at CMR Institute of Technology for Health 2.0 India. The event will center around 21st century healthcare and how innovative, technology-based solutions are transforming the space in India and across the globe. Through panel discussions and open conversation, attending entrepreneurs, corporates, insurance providers, and others will share ideas on these new opportunities in the Indian healthcare space and the challenges they will face.
We recently had the chance to speak with Indu Subaiya, Co-Chairman and CEO of Health 2.0, to get her opinion on the new technology emerging in the Indian healthcare space, and on what to expect from the upcoming conference.
Before co-founding Health 2.0 along with Matthew Holt, Indu attended Cornell University as an undergraduate intent on pursuing a medical degree and becoming a doctor. She soon realized that while her passion remained in healthcare, her talents would be better suited on the business side of the sector. After working with Quorum Consulting in San Francisco, California, Indu went on to receive an M.B.A from the University of California, Berkeley. She continued to immerse herself at the intersection of Bay Area healthcare and technology, serving as VP of Healthcare at investment research firm Gerson Lehrman Group.
Health 2.0 has evolved into an annual series of conferences that take place in cities across the globe, including Berlin, Dubai, Paris, and San Francisco. This Saturday, February 9th, India will host its second annual Health 2.0 conference in Bangalore, where Indu will be speaking alongside an impressive lineup of leaders across the fields of medicine and technology. Together, they hope to unravel some of the big questions surrounding the Indian healthcare space and catalyze the solutions to them.
