Cleartrip launches new feature to allow rescheduling of flights online

In a new update today, Cleartrip has launched 'Online Flight Changes'. This update comes from the feedback Cleartrip has been taking in from the customers and the biggest pain point for a user came in cases when a person had to reschedule a flight. The only option was to go via customer support and the process generally took upwards of 20 minutes.
Working on the problem, Cleartrip has today launched this feature to allow rescheduling online. The feature applies to domestic flights as of now and none of the other major OTAs allow this. The difficulty mainly comes in due to the multiple legs involved in international flights.
Once the user goes on to the change flights options, he's given a slew of options and a new column which gives the difference. Green implies one needs to pay the difference and red means the difference would be refunded.
This feature can be used to reschedule a ticket for a single ticket from a group booking as well. With this new feature, Cleartrip has also waived off the amendment fees of Rs 300 for itinerary changes done online. The airline charges of Rs 1000 remain intact.This feature comes after a flurry of other recent updates which has made Cleartrip a strong name in the OTA space.
