Vyapar Hub is a startup in corporate solutions and business consulting domain. It provides consulting in management, marketing process outsourcing, education, health, wellness and psychology. Launched in January 2011, Vyapar Hub is based out of Lucknow.

Vyapar Hub was started by Rishi Mathur, Dr. Mukul Rajput and Aanshul Avasthi. Rishi, an MBA, looks after business development, technology and operations. Dr. Mukul, who has a doctorate in psychology, looks after the entire strategy and business planning and Aanshul takes care of operations. “All of us come from middle class and service oriented families and therefore business was definitely not a cake walk. However our volition to vanquish stirred us through the tumultuous journey,” says Rishi.

While business consulting in India exists, it is mostly dominated by a few big names and there was an opportunity to provide consulting and business solutions to startups and SMEs. Vyapar Hub, according to Dr. Mukul, is a one stop shop that provides comprehensive expert solutions in the consulting domain. It has four business verticals:

1)   Samadhan : Management Consulting & Corporate Solutions

2)   Magdarshi: Marketing Process Outsourcing (MPO)

3)   Adhyayan: Educational Corporate Services

4)   Manan: Health, Wellness & Psychology

Samadhan provides consulting to startups in the area of mentoring, venture acceleration, virtual incubation, funding assistance, etc. “Startups, if not properly guided are doomed while expansion. Our services are exclusively built for those in infant or sophomore stage. It often happens that founders lose interest in their business and look out for sale. We bridge entrepreneurs looking out for buying and selling their ventures,” says Rishi.

The growing Indian education sector is the area of focus for Vyapar Hub’s Adhyayan. “Be it institution planning, accreditations, faculty development programs or Franchising, we provide all,” says Aanshul. They have launched INTERNS HUB, an opportunity portal providing internship solutions to both, organizations and students/professionals.

Magdarshi provides marketing process outsourcing services to SMEs and startups. Magdarshi caters to such firms for their promotional activities, online and offline, market research, product management etc. Manan provides consulting and branding to personnel and commercial organization in personality Enhancement, image building. It provides assessment of individuals based on psychometric and knowledge based tests.

The venture was started with an investment of Rs 2 lakhs and according to the founders is at 60-65% YoY. “We are open to strategic funding for necessary expansion in our offerings and value proposition,” says Rishi, when asked if they are looking for funding. Vyapar Hub operates with a team of 15 – 20 people, who are all mostly consultants and Rishi says they have managed to break even on their investment. “We wish to be a recognized and reputed name in the area of consulting, be it any domain. Our consultants and services should be the most coveted for,” says Rishi ambitiously.
