[YS Hack Day] Python/ Django 101 Hack – Let's learn & build things together

We learn faster when we do things together. So, if you want to get started with web development, if you want to quickly prototype your ideas, if you are excited to learn or you want have some fun coding - here is an opportunity to do it using Python/ Django Programming!


YS hack day

Python is one of the easiest programming languages to grasp and write non-trivial, production-ready code. Being dynamic in nature, one can just fire up the interpreter and start coding. Django is a powerful web framework written in Python that allows you to write complex, scalable applications in just a few hours of coding.YourStory in association with HackerEarth is conducting a Django/Python 101 Hack to explore how to quickly build a web application using Django framework.

3:00 pm – 3:30 pm - Python/ Django 101 by Vivek Prakash, Co-founder, HackerEarth

3:30 pm – 4:00 pm - Workshop on how to build a basic website in Django, by Sachin Gupta, Co-founder, HackerEarth

4:00pm – 8:00 pm - Hackathon where attendees will have to build a website using Django and HackerEarth code checker API.

 

Who should attend: This hack is targeted towards beginners who have basic programming knowledge, who understand what a web framework is, and want to get started with Django. Basic knowledge of Python will be an added advantage.
