Jammu & Kashmir to unveil new industrial policy to encourage new entrepreneurs
The Jammu and Kashmir government will soon unveil a new industrial policy aimed at reviving the sector. "A new industrial policy will be unveiled soon which will give a fillip to the industrial sector in the state", Industries and Commerce Minister, Chander Parkash Ganga said in Srinagar, while chairing a meeting to discuss new industrial policy at Civil Secretariat yesterday.
Ganga said that the government has industrialist friendly approach and all possible efforts and measures would be taken to revive industrial units. "The new industrial policy is aimed to boost and revive the industry in the state and to encourage new investment in industries and facilitate new entrepreneurs, besides generation of employment avenues", he said.
He said Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is very much keen for flourishing progressive industrial setup in the state and all possible measures would be taken in this regard. The meeting was attended by representatives from various industrialist associations, who gave suggestions for the successful implementation of the policy.
