IBM GEP SmartCamp India is back to pick the best B2B enterprise startup
India is big. India is diverse. India is clustered, and this clustering is happening in the software product industry, too. A large number of B2B SaaS-product companies have emerged successfully in gaining solid customer momentum . However Enterprise startups are not the kind that you hear about every day. This is primarily because they’re not the shiny apps built by college dropouts. Enterprise startups are the ones that build products help companies create value to their customers, increasing efficiencies, reduce costs. And they are the ones who get a steady stream of revenue.
As part of IBM Global Entrepreneur Program (GEP) ’s ongoing commitment to foster innovation among entrepreneurs, "IBM GEP has launched SmartCamp", a competition for the B2B startups in India. In last year edition`s Stelae Technologies emerged as winners, with Drona and Wolken as runners up.
The aim is to identify the best B2B startups in different cities around India, get them to pitch before eminent people from the Startup ecosystem, give them press coverage, certificates. The regional rounds will have showcasing their solutions to CIOs and a larger audience as well. The battle lines are drawn for this year. Check the video out to understand the format and previous winners speaking on how Smartcamp benefitted them.
SmartCamp 2015 is bigger and better than ever before, with nine startup hotspots across India. Choose the city closest to you from across six States, and make your mark!
